Record stuff off iPad

I did an interview over iMessage, because I'm a big dumb dumblebee, and I thought I could just open it on the desktop or something.  I can't (Snow Leopard versus Mountain Lion), but I did learn that you can take screenshots of an ipad.

Hold down power button and press the menu button.  Basically press the only two buttons on the whole thing.

Some Google calendars don't sync to iPad

There's this thing, see, called google sync or something. Go to m.google.com/sync on the iPad and mess with the settings.

iPad Instapaper

SOmehow accidentally installed the "read it later" bookmarlet in the iPad. Go Instapaper! I'm pretty sure I got there just bu clicking the button they say to drag to your bookmark bar. Super easy instructions.

m4a and mp4

I've been just renaming "m4a" files as "mp4."  So far I haven't been arrested and nothing is on fire.

I read somewhere that mp4 can also be video, and Atlas Ti seems to expect them to have video components.  That doesn't make sense to me....but neither do the .mov files that come from Call Recorder on Skype.
